Who We Are
Sequoia Bark Sales was established on January 1, 2001, by Ralph Nasalroad, although the Sequoia label has been in existence for more than 40 years. When Sequoia Forest Products of Dinuba, California, was forced to close its doors during the latter part of 2000, Ralph, along with more than 100 other employees, was laid off from his place of work after more than 30 years of service. Too young to retire, and too knowledgeable in the forest by-products industry to let that knowledge go to waste, Ralph decided to establish Sequoia Bark Sales with the help of his wife and two sons. Ralph acquired the Sequoia label, logo, and all trademarks and patents from Sierra Forest Products General Manager, Kent Duysen, in order to carry on the legacy of quality that has come to be associated with the Sequoia brand.
What We Do
Sequoia Bark Sales relies on many bark plants and saw mills to manufacture the highest quality products. Serving customers all over the world, we have provided products for landscapers, nursery owners, orchid growers, and even horse-stable owners. Our clientele spans from all over the United States to countries such as Japan, China, and several other nations. With more and more interest in our products overseas, Sequoia Bark Sales hopes to further expand into the international market.
