Proven Quality worldwide
In this category there are two products differing only in particle size. The source material is fir. These products are graded both for minimum and maximum particle size in each category. Each of the materials provides all of the benefits discussed under mulching materials. For obvious reasons, the Mini grade is more commonly employed for use in walkways or in small containers for growing many types of plants (most commonly orchids). The small grade is used in larger containers for growing plants. The bark acts as a “sponge”, reducing evaporation and absorbing heat to optimize growing potential in plants. A frequently observed bonus benefit is the fragrance of the deep woods that emanates from the bark.
(1/8” - 1/4“) Mini Size This very fine granular bark, free of foreign material, colorful and fragrant, is ideal for growing orchids in small containers. It can also be employed for decorative purposes such as walkways or other places where a beautifully natural look is desired. |
